A NOTE FROM YOUR THESPIAN PRESIDENT

Welcome to Keller Theatre; we are so happy to have you with us! As Thespian President, my job is to ensure the success of the department this year. Our department has many student-oriented events to help you get involved, including the theatre HOCO float, the Texas Thespians trip, and department socials for students to get to know each other and connect as a family! 

Keller Theatre is built on a foundation of kindness, inclusivity, service, and strong relationships between students. For me, this department has provided a safe and welcoming environment to grow and mature throughout my high school years, and I hope to extend that opportunity to you. Being a thespian is much more than acting on a stage: it’s about the people we meet and the life lessons learned along the way. I hope to offer every student a place where they feel like they belong within our theatre community. No matter who you are, where you’re from, or if you’ve done theatre before, you are welcome here.

I can’t wait to meet all of you and I am so excited for this year’s season!
